Simone Biles sends message to husband Jonathan Owens before leaving town

Simone Biles got to spend some quality time with her husband Jonathan Owens before heading out on a trip.

“Glad I got to see you for a short bit before jetting off to the airport,” Biles captioned a selfie of her and Owens on her Instagram Stories on April 18. “So incredibly grateful for you ilysfm,” she added.

In another post a short while later, the gymnast, 28, showed off her travel fit as she posed for a mirror selfie with her suitcase. 

“Off again,” she captioned the post. “I swear I never stop moving but I feel so blessed to travel the world for work and vacation.” In the very next post, Simone revealed that she was traveling with her parents.

Biles’ trip comes after she was named one of Time magazine’s most influential people in the world.

“Incredibly honored to be included in the 2025 #TIME100 list. time.com/time100 Thank you, @time,” Biles captioned an Instagram post on April 17. Fans took to the comments section to react.

“Your performance at the Paris Olympics last year still leaves me breathless. I’ve never seen such perfection in epidemic proportions. You are the greatest athlete I’ve ever seen,” one comment read.

“Well deserved sister @simonebiles so proud of you and all you have accomplished! The bars you have set and the bars you have overcome! Keep making it do what it do and know we love you! Shout out to your family and hubby too @jowens in the words of @ellamai I need to get me one of those,” someone else said.

Biles has a fairly busy schedule lately as she’s been traveling all over the place, making appearances and completing various obligations. On May 3, she will be on-hand at Churchill Downs where she will call “Riders Up” at the 2025 Kentucky Derby.
