She won three golds and a silver medal at the event and became the most-decorated Olympic gymnast in US History.

Biles wasn’t done with gymnastics after the Olympics though, and toured the country with the “Gold Over America Tour.”

She also hosted her eight annual Biles International Invitational.

In between those activities, Biles has spent time with her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens.

Biles still hasn’t announced whether or not she will return to the Olympics when it comes to Los Angeles in 2028.

Biles will be 30 years old when the next Olympics roll around and she might not be able to compete at the same level.

However, she does have some new about her career outside of gymnastics.

“Whether I like it or not, I’ve been around the entertainment space for basically my whole professional career,” Biles told Variety about joining ROS.

“If you asked me when I was younger, I wanted to be a nurse. I wanted to help people. I wanted to be out in the community.

“I feel like this is such a unique way to still be in the community, to give back, to tell people stories in a positive manner, in a beautiful way.

“I’m always around it, always in it, so why not give other people the platform?”

Biles worked with ROS to film her Netflix series Simone Biles: Rising, which showed the journey from her devastating Tokyo Olympics in 2021 to her redemption in Paris in 2024.

Simone Biles’ first coach Aimee Boorman exclusively told The U.S. Sun that she thinks Biles will be spurred by a new role this year.

“Having younger teammates benefits her because she has stepped in as the mother hen figure,” said Aimee.

“And so she has to tell them to stay calm. You’ve got this. You’re prepared. And so as she’s saying it, she’s also hearing it.

“You always have tiny kids that come into the gym, but they’re never ripped like Simone was,” she said.

“I know she was very self-conscious about it growing up. But from a coaching perspective, it was great.

“I didn’t think that Simone would be a multi gold medal athlete straight away.

“But she did stand out because she was very tiny, but very muscular.”

She is the first board member to join ROS since 2017 and believes she can bring a different perspective to the table.

“One, because I’m a female, and two, I’m not on a team sport,” she said.

“I’m self-funded, so it looks a little bit different than theirs would be.

“I feel like I have a lot of insight to bring in the things that I do advocate for.

“If somebody wants to tell their story, but say they have ADHD, or they were a foster kid, like me, I know the comfortability that you’ll need [to tell it].”
