Angela Cullen sends clear Lewis Hamilton message after linking up with new driver

Hamilton followed Cullen through the Silver Arrows exit door at the end of last season after winning six of his seven world titles with the team.

The 40-year-old will race for Ferrari this season after signing a contract to replace Carlos Sainz at the Italian outfit.

Cullen previously worked as Hamilton’s physiotherapist and trainer, and was often seen alongside the blockbuster star during F1 weekends.

But Hamilton confirmed she was embarking on a new chapter to “pursue her dreams” as he announced her departure.

The New Zealander has since entered the world of IndyCar after making the decision to team up with driver Marcus Armstrong.

Cullen took to social media recently to post an image of herself wearing a coat in the colours of Ferrari while standing on a ski slope.

In the background there is a sign displaying the No. 44 in an apparent nod to Hamilton. And the image has even sparked rumours of a reunion between the two.

Hamilton has driven with a No. 44 car ever since his karting days and will continue to use the same number during his time with Ferrari.

After Hamilton and Cullen parted ways, the F1 star wrote on Instagram: “For the last seven years @cullen_angela has been by my side, pushing me to be the best version of myself. I am a stronger athlete and a better person because of her.

“So today I hope you’ll join me in wishing her the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams. Thank you for everything Ang, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you.”
