With less than 100 days until the 2025 Masters, the field is taking shape.
A star-studded lineup, including a host of past champions, will tackle the first major of the men’s season again.
And Fred Ridely, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament, has announced that two more players will feature.
One of them is LIV Golf star Joaquin Niemann.
The Chilean will make his sixth Masters start in April after making the cut in each of the past four editions, including top-25 finishes the past two years.
It comes after Niemann, currently ranked No.71 in the world rankings, received a special invite to compete in The Masters in 2024.

Meanwhile, he’ll be joined by Denmark’s Nicolai Hojgaard, who also accepted an invitation to tee it up at Augusta in April.
Hojgaard, 23, made his debut in The Masters last year and is currently ranked No.60 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
His twin brother Rasmus will make his Masters debut in April, marking the first time that a pair of twins will compete in the same staging.
“In support of Augusta National’s efforts to develop interest in golf globally, deserving international players not otherwise qualified have been invited throughout the Tournament’s history,” Ridley said.
“The tradition continues as we welcome Nicolai and Joaquin back to the Masters, as both players have showcased their talent while competing around the world.
“We look forward to their arrival this April.”
After receiving his invitation last year, Niemann insisted that LIV Golf’s major conundrum ‘sucks’.
At the time, he was ranked 81st in the world and was on a mission to navigate a seemingly blocked route into all four major championships.
“It’s useful to get world ranking but it sucks that I’m too far away to get into all the majors,” he told bunkered.co.uk.
“It’s frustrating. It got a little bit tastier getting that invite from The Masters because one of my goals was trying to get into the first major because the US Open you can get in.
“You can qualify. That still sucks to do that though, but I do have a chance to get in.”
As it stands, Niemann is one of 87 players who have been invited to compete in the 2025 Masters.
It will be the 89th playing of the tournament and is scheduled for April 7 – 13. You can click here for the full field.
