Simone Biles says she’s “found a gold mine” in her marriage to husband Jonathan Owens in sweet post
The 11-time Olympian, 27, shared a series of photos with her Chicago Bears quarterback husband, 29, on Instagram on Wednesday, October 2. She sweetly captioned the post, “I found gold in this .”
The photos were likely taken during Biles’ stop in Milwaukee on Saturday, September 28, during her Gold Over America tour, where Owens surprised her! She’s currently headlining the tour, which is a combination gymnastics meet and concert experience, alongside USA Team gymnasts Jordan Childs, Jade Carey, Hesly Rivera, and Fred Richard. Meanwhile, she participated in Owens in Chicago the next day, participating in the evening performance of the tour and the Bears in the Soldier’s field, Los Angels Rams. (Bears broke Rams in 24-18.)
Gymnasts’s post began with a photo of his Owens kiss in recent games. Biles also rocked Chicago Bears gear, including a white miniskirt and a Balenciaga duty-free tote. The final slide of the Instagram carousel included a video of the couple’s sweet kiss. The next photo shows Owens supporting his wife at her sporting events. Biles posed in a shimmering leotard in what appeared to be a backstage dressing room. Owens wore a stadium uniform shirt in a white gallery. He was wearing the last two photos. One photo features a selfie of the couple, with Owens hugging the smiling gymnast from behind and kissing her on the cheek.
Another photo shows Biles and Owens embracing each other, with the gold medalist gazing lovingly at her husband as he smiles for the camera. Biles wore a white satin corset top.
“I like to look at things from an athlete’s perspective because that’s how you succeed in any sport: You just have to be consistent and keep doing the same thing every day,” he said. \”You know what I mean? I love to watch it and I love to be out there and be a cheerleader.”
