Tiger Woods made TGL history against Rory McIlroy – but not in the way he wanted

The TGL match on Monday evening between the Jupiter of Tiger Woods Links Golf Club and the Boston Common Golf of Rory Mcilroid was a bit.

We had a strange solution linked to the placement of the ball on green, to the decision of TIO and … the first violation of the shooting in the history of TGL. This unflattering reputation now belongs exclusively to Tiger Woods.

The score was tied at 1-1 going into the 10th hole at Boston Common and Jupiter Links, with McIlroy and Woods facing off in the first singles. McIlroy made a birdie on the par-5 and Woods had eight feet to hole in to tie the score, but the 15-time major champion took so long to putt that a first-time TGL shot-clock violation occurred – players are allotted 40 seconds between shots – and the hole was handed over to McIlroy and Boston Common. The two teams have twice Auta, and Woods and Jupiter can save themselves, but instead, Tiger created a (simulator) golf history.

It is not created by him. The fourth night of the TGL featured the league’s founders and main players, Woods and McIlroy, playing one of the most entertaining and competitive matches ever, including the league’s first overtime game, won by Woods and Jupiter.

It also featured the first shot clock violation, something the PGA Tour may be forced to adopt given the pace of play issues. However, on the former night of the TGL, the Mer is the most memorable image of the Simulator Golflige’s first day when Woods builds 8 -foot birds.
